2018 IRC Code Change
The 2018 IRC will be effective January 1, 2019 in Jefferson County. During 2018 all drawings can still reference the 2015 IRC.
During their quarterly contractor’s scheduled meetings at the Jefferson County Bldg. Dept. throughout the year, changes and questions regarding the adoption of the code in 2019 will be discussed and reviewed. It’s my opinion that these contractor’s meetings should not be overlooked because there will be a wealth of information regarding the significant changes in the code as well as how they will be implemented accordingly.
The first meeting is Wednesday March 14, 2018,
11:30 - 1:30
100 Jefferson County Parkway
Golden, CO 80419
Lookout Mountain Room Admin. Bldg.

This four-hour course will be a continuing education seminar which will help show you the many tools available in StruCalc to help you design structural members quickly and easily, typically in less than a minute.
We will also show you our revolutionary new feature in StruCalc called Load Tracker. This tool allows you to transfer member reactions quickly and easily and cuts the already fast design time when using StruCalc in half. We will show that calculation updates as a result of any mid-project design changes can be done in minutes!
If we have time, we will give you an in depth discussion of the design factors used in StruCalc to help give you a better understanding of the structural design process.
Attendees will receive a four hour PDH certificate at the end of the seminar.
To sign up for the StruCalc seminar, please visit their website www.strucalc.com or use the following link Denver Seminar.
